Who Are We - Click photo's to find out more!

The RSPCA North Wiltshire branch is a self-funding, separately registered charity - one of 172 branches of the RSPCA in England and Wales which works with the national RSPCA and its Inspectorate to care for neglected animals.

Our branch area covers Swindon, Chippenham, Blunsdon, Highworth, South Marston, Lambourn, Shrivenham, Longcot, Fairford, Kempsford, Brinkworth, Lyneham, Wootton Bassett, Purton, Cricklade, Cirencester, Malmesbury, Calne, Marlborough, Ramsbury, Aldbourne, Lechlade, Faringdon and surrounding locale. The committee is run by volunteers, elected from branch membership, who run the branch.

The key aim of the branch is to find suitable new homes for as many animals as possible which come into our care, and to provide proper care for those who have been mistreated or abandoned. In addition we offer financial assistance for veterinary treatment to owners on some government benefits. Wherever possible, animals are neutered and micro-chipped before being re-homed.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to carry out our animal welfare activities. YOU can volunteer to assist us with fund raising:

  • Via our 2 shops - one in Gorse Hill, Swindon, and one in Chippenham.
  • The annual Fun Dog Show
  • Tin collections
  • Stalls at local fayres
  • Pub quizzes
